Experiment 1: Air Track - Modern Mechanics - phy100 / phy172

Hello everyone. So this is my first post in this blog. I am planning to upload my notes for classes that I am taking at university this semester. I hope it may be helpful for some of you.

AUM - Modern Mechanics - phy100 / phy172 - Fall 2016 - Experiment 1: Air Track

Group assessment questions:


• There was a graph where we need to find the acceleration. How to find it? We take two points at the graph between velocity and time, then use the rule: acceleration = velocity / time.

 • Mention some errors that could happen and how to reduce them.Random errors:-Not adjusting ( the height of ) the photo gate properly.- observational errors.- Not adjusting the smart timer. ( I think? When you do not change the number of the photo gate in the smart timer, for example)Systematic errors:- From the smart timer itself.- From the sensor ( that is on the photo gate ) itself. If it did not record.

 • For the percentage error for the instantaneous velocity

 Percentage error =  | ( theoretical - experimental ) / ( theoretical )  | * 100 

 • Do the average velocity and the instantaneous velocity mean the same thing? Why not? For the percentage error for the instantaneous velocity
• Is there any acceleration in the third table above? Explain your answer.

Acceleration : the rate of change of time of velocity.

How to register a legal alias in Japan / 外国人として通称名の登録のやり方

 Hey there! I'm Shouq, and I've been living in Japan for almost four years now. I've got a bit of a situation with my middle name on official documents – it's quite long. If you've spent a good amount of time in Japan, you'll know that dealing with a middle name here can be a hassle, especially if it's a really long one. It messes up online forms, and I've even been rejected for credit cards because my identity couldn't be confirmed due to the mismatch between cards with and without my middle name. Recently, I found out about something called a "通称名" (tsuushoumei), which is like a legal alias you can register in Japan. This can help solve the middle name issue. You can register a simplified name without your middle name or even use your spouse's last name if you're married. السلام عليكم جميعاً! قبل أيام قليلة أخيراَ قمت بمعرفة درجة اختبار الكفاءة في اللغة اليابانية المستوى الخامس N5 لنبدأ أولاً بالتحدث عن ماهية الإختبار يطلق على الإمتحان JLPT JLPT=Japanese Language Proficiency Test=اختبار الكفاءة في اللغة الياباينة إختبار الكفاءة في اللغة اليابانية يحتوي على خمس مستويات حيث المستوى الأول أصعبها والمستوى الخامس أسهلها.
