Hello! My name is Shouq, and this is a project for an elective class called Career Planning - Bus 300 which I took in Summer 2018 in the American University of the Middle East (AUM) in Kuwait.
Abstract
The objective of this report is to identify the steps and processes that are needed to be taken consideration of before, during, and after an interview which can guaranty a person to have a successful interview experience.

Keywords: interview, successful, during, after, before, job.
Introduction
In order for a person to have a successful job interview, there are several steps and processes that need to be taken into consideration before, during and after the interview as well. Having a successful interview is a way of making sure that a person has a higher chance of getting the job he or she is aiming for.
There are several types of job interview. Some of the types of job interview that a person may face while trying to search for the appropriate job are
1.    Phone interview is the first step of the interview processes as viewing a possible employee's resume is not enough. A phone interview makes the interviewer able to see how the possible future employee talks, express themselves, and answer the asked questions. It saves the interviewer's time as it is easier to eliminate candidates that are not suitable for the job (Hughes, 2015).
2.      Video interview may be a replacement for phone interview as it allows the interviewer to see the body language of the possible employee as well as the way they talk and answer the interviewer's questions. The video interview can be done through several websites or applications using Skype, Zoom, and FaceTime (Hughes, 2015).
3.    Face-to-face interview known as individual interview or group interview is where the interviewer(s) meets with possible future employee(s). It allows the interviewer to know the job candidates to a better level in order for the interviewer to know the person who is the best fit to the job (Hughes, 2015).
Before interview
The steps a person has to do before a face-to-face interview in order for him or her to have a good interview are
1.   Getting some information about the company and researching about the place you applied for as it will appear that you are serious about getting a job in the company (Vanuxem, 2014).
2.      Sleeping well the night before the interview (Vanuxem, 2014).
3.      Bringing the CV and the other important papers as well as preparing the references of the previous work experiences ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
4.      Searching about the position a person is applying to for.
5.  Reviewing other people's job interview experience and older or current company employees to know more about it (Vanuxem, 2014).
6.      Reading about possible interview questions that may be asked.
7.     Preparing appropriate professional clothes as it says a lot about a person ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
8.      Eating enough food before an interview is important as a person's focus deceases when they are hungry (Vanuxem, 2014).
9.      Getting to the meeting place a day before to estimate the needed time and to get used to the way
10.    Arriving early as it shows good time management or at least be on time (Brunt, 2017).
11.    Turning off the cell phone before getting into the interview as a phone ringing during the interview is a bad thing and says a lot about the possible job employee (Khadbai, 2016).
12.  Making a list of the questions that needed to be asked about regarding salary or others (Brunt, 2017).
During interview
The steps a person has to do during a face-to-face interview in order for him or her to have a good interview are
1.      Making a good first impression and show confidence (Vanuxem, 2014).
2.      Moderating the body language, eye contact and smiling which shows that the person is friendly and relaxed and controlling any unneeded emotions.
3.      Mentioning a person's name and information and addressing it (Vanuxem, 2014).
13.  Answering the questions the interviewer asks professionally, properly and honestly with respect ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
4.      Talking clearly neither loud or quickly as a person's voice tone should not be so high or low, but a good tone of voice to show confident.
14.  Providing the list of the questions to ask the interviewer ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
5.      Making a positive feedback to the interviewer by saying, for example, “I look forward to hearing from you.”
After interview
The steps a person has to do after a face-to-face interview in order for him or her to have a good interview are
1.      Writing any mistake a person had during the interview or something the person wish he / she had said to interviewer in a note for future reference as well as doing an interview assessment right after the interview to compare expectation and the reality of the interview and the future possible job position. Also, it will help in improving presentation skills and be more prepared for future interviews ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
2.      Writing a follow up email to the company ("43 Tips On What To Do Before, During And After An Interview", 2018).
3.      Knowing the process and when the company will make a final decision regarding who is the best fit to the job ("What should I do after my job interview?", 2014).
4.  Continuing searching to other job opportunities ("What should I do after my job interview?", 2014).
5.      Being positive and having confidence on a person's self.
6.      Keeping in developing and improving a person's skills and knowledge.
7.    Following up with the hiring manager by sending a follow up email, in the same day if possible (Brunt, 2017).
8.      Making a list of the positive and negative things that happened in the interview for future reference.
Conclusion
To sum up everything, there are several types of interviews that a person may have to go through during the job searching period. Also, there are several steps and processes that should be followed in a face-to-face interview in order to guarantee a more successful job interview.

( Japanese poem )The little bird, the bell, and me 私と小鳥と鈴と 「英語訳」

[Translated script] The little bird, the bell, and me Even with both of my hands open, I still can't fly in the sky, But the little flying bird Can't run as fast on the ground as me. Even if I shake my body, No beautiful sound comes out. But the ringing bell Doesn't know as much songs as me, The bell, the little bird and also me, We are all different, yet we are good. Poet: Misuzu Kaneko Translated by: Shouq A - Q8toy - ショーグ [The script for the poem] 私と小鳥と鈴と 私は両手うをひろげても、 お空はちょっとっも飛べないが。
